Who's Nora?

Introducing Nora. I'm super excited about this. Nora is our newest teammate, and she is so cute. You can see her picture on our website. She's our little bird, and she's an AI assistant to our intake team. She's not just a chatbot. She knows everything about Roots, so she can answer really specific questions, like what the compensation is.

She goes through all of the green and red flags to make sure you're qualified, and she collects some of the documentation we'll need from you, so she can check the boxes. She's not making any determinations about whether you're qualified or not. She's not making any choices. She's just here to do the nitty-gritty work, so that our team has more time to spend getting to know you, understanding your particulars and matching you with the right person.

She pulls documents directly into our HIPAA-compliant system. So when you upload your driver's license, you don't need to worry: "Oh my gosh, where is this going? Into the abyss of Google?" No. It goes directly into our system, which is HIPAA compliant.

So that's Nora. She's lovely, and she's super smart. If you don't want to talk to her, or she goes a little wonky, just let us know and say, "Hey, I want to talk to a human." We're there. We're always there. Our intake team is there, and they also monitor Nora, so we're watching what's happening and can step in at any point.

One of the great things about Nora is that she works 24/7, so you can work on your own timeline. If you only have 10 minutes while you're waiting to pick up your kid from karate, great. Talk to her and knock off a few things. Or if it's really late at night, you're getting into bed and you think, "I have 30 minutes; I'll do this instead of reading," that's great too. We're closed then, doing the same thing with our own kids. So it's awesome that she can work holidays, weekends and 24 hours a day, and whenever you have time, you can work with her to get things done.

And if it's two o'clock in the morning and you pop awake thinking, "Oh my gosh, I should ask this," ask her. Just send a text, and she'll answer right away, so you get the information you need in real time, on your timeline.
