Waitlist
All good agencies have waitlists. This is because there is a surrogate shortage in the United States. Roots offers three different packages, all full services, that are varied in cost and wait times.

Surrogate Preparation
Once you are matched with your surrogate, she will need to prepare for the IVF transfer. We need to have her medically cleared, in person, by your Reproductive Endocrinologist and go through the legal contracts and start medication. This process is the same at all agencies and takes 3-4 months.

Pregnancy
Assuming the first transfer takes, pregnancy lasts aproximately 38-41 weeks. During the first trimester, the surrogate will remain with your Reproductive Endocrinologist. The second and thrid trimester, she will be seen by her Obstetrician. She will give birth where she lives.
